I'd be remiss if my first post wasn't a plug. So, I'll keep it in the family. Check out my brother's new show,
Ski Patrol. It airs Wednesday nights at 10:00 pm on TruTv (formerly Court TV).
Here is the snyopsis:
"Ski Patrol follows the men and women who work the slopes in some of the most extreme environments in the country. As cameras follow their every move, these appealing men and women fight avalanches, perform daring rescues and keep their eyes on unruly mountain-goers looking to party on the slopes. It's high-altitude action, excitement and adventure everyday with Ski Patrol."
I don't really like my brother's shows that much. Sure, they're cool for a while. I'm always like, "Hey, that's my brother's show!" But, after the novelty of the first few episodes wears off, I always end up realizing I'm wasting my time on shows geared towards car customization/racing (see:
Trick My Truck,
Trick My Trucker,
The Drive).
I hate car customization/racing.
I do like the fact that one of the two mountains the show is shot at is named
Crystal Mountain, which happens to be my favorite track off Death's
Symbolic (1995).
But I digress. While I don't believe any of it is actually "tru," the show is entertaining. Check it out tonight if you're bored.
